nice keys so far, how are you getting such big scans to post though?

 

Thanks! And my scans always post this big, I don't know if it's my scanner settings or what, but people seem to like them so they can see all the little defects.

 

It always is gated by the DPI of your scan.

 

All monitors are 72dpi. If you scan @ 200 or 300, your images will be bigger. 1 inch of actual book = 2 inches of screen space @ 144dpi, etc.

 

Most decent scanners will scan up to 300dpi. Good scanners up to 1200dpi.
