"Staple Cleaned" like many of the Don Vernon collection books sold by Heritage. Holding this side-by-side to the top-census blue label 9.4 Central Valley, this copy has slightly better colors, centering, and eye appeal.

The Black Hole #4 F $150

 

One of the rarest Whitman pre-pack-only comics produced. A beat up G/VG copy just sold on ebay for $108. A NM- copy on Heritage went for over $380.

I was ecstatic when I found this gorgeous copy.. but then noticed the 1" back cover tear (visible in scan) when I got it home. It's a very clean tear and the book is flat and clean otherwise.

 

*** No idea how to grade this with the tear.
