give me.

I am not use to this method, and I don't know where to turn;

It seems that there is no help.

I have had some contact, and it was a while ago, read six to eight weeks,

and I haven't seen any results.

This is the second time I have posted here, and I am truly disappointed in "how things work."

(Where's th' SEE-ESS, dude?)

Customer Service.

...all the views, and not a word.

What I want to know is:

"Who is willing to take a stand for this with me?"

I have tried, with little success, in getting my BLAB! #1,

1st edition (Monte Comix: Monte Beauchamp), The Checkered

Demon #1 (Last Gasp), Fat Freddy's Comics & Stories #1

(Rip Off Press), Feds 'n' Heads Comics #1 (1968, Gilbert

Shelton), Mr. Natural #1* (Apex Novelties, and SFCB Co.),

San Francisco Comic Book #1 (Gary Arlington: San Francisco

Comic Book Company), Spaced #1 (Unbridled Ambition: Anthony

Smith, Tom Stazer) added as COMPETITIVE SETS , and

it's been a while....

How can there NOT be a Mr. Natural set category?!

This is sad... , and all fair game, for gristing.

*

HEADS UP:

Mr. Natural printing editions are not what they are 'purported"

by the "experts."

All mine came from, my former neighbor, Don-a-hue, and

I couldn't figure out why CGC called my book what it wasn't.

Then, I remembered talking to Don about this, and when

I picked up my Kennedy guide and read it,

it all came back to me....

Wha' d'_ y'u kno'?

Yes!!

Yes!!

This is awesome.

But I am going to try and give a straight answer.

To the OP: I have seen your requests for the Registry set, and they are incoherent and weird, not unlike this post.

If you want to get a Registry set created, you have to give a coherent, and cohesive reason why the books should be aggregated together as a set. Is there a reason for all those #1s to be together as a set? Do they all have the same writer or artist? Were they all published by the same publisher, or did they all come out in the same year. If there is no reason for them to be a set, Gemma is not going to create it.

They don't treat the Registry as a place to park single comics, although they have been threatening for years to make Custom Sets a possibility which would allow you to make your own set of those books. But that doesn't exist yet.

So to sum up, you have to make the set and actual set, as opposed to an aggregation of books whose only similar characteristic is that you own a copy of them.

:foryou:

Some of the sets I am requesting are, for example,

B L A B !

(it should include B L A B ! #1, 1st; #2, 1st; #1 2nd, #3; #4, #5, #6,

and so on)(Monte Comix, Monte Beuachamp, Fantagraphics, and

Kitchen Sink; 1986-present)

The Checkered Demon

it should include #1 , #2, and #3

(Last Gasp, 1979-1982, 1st printings only)

and so on,

as other,

previous posts,

but

to think that

I am trying to mix a FAT FREDDY'S #2 with a JUDGE DREDD #1

in a set, or a copy of The Checkered Demon #2,

with B L A B ! #2, 1st edition of 2,000, in a set is as

equally ridiculous.

(unless, of course,

they were lumped together as a "Pedigree" collection.

For me that's later, Inshallah,

and aren't all collector's collections pedigree?

The books, for the most part, I have owned for 30 years.

Where's the pedigree cutoff?).

and

Why ISN'T there a Mr. Natural Set?

Why ISN'T there The Checkered Demon Set?

Why ISN'T there a Spaced Set?

My thoughts were that these wellikins are designed to outsource

CS/joules. Therefore, I wondered if there was information that you

don't have.

From my experience I have seen otherwise.

Please add the titles so I COULD build competitive sets....

Thanks, in advance, for your attention,

ks
