I've seen this classic GA comic cover over the years. But who knows the story behind the Space Chicken King on the cover??? Its surreal!!

I can't tell you anything about it other than their is a picture of the cover to Future Comics #2 in Wizard #151 and it looks almost the same as your attachment

I don't know the name of the character, but the cover is from the "Saturn Against the Earth" feature. Sort of a Flash Gordon knock-off, I believe.

 

I think that ol' Rooster-Head is some sort of Ming the Merciless type- your average interplanetary despot in a funny costume messing with the good people of planet Earth.

 

No revealing info on his name on the GCD. When I track it down, I'll post again.
