Ran across this in my collection from 1945...contains origin of

Very cool MM! I came across that cover a few months ago. Atomic Man was then on the cover of the next issue, and I wouldn't mind owning a nice copy of that one!

While scanning my GREEN HORNET Comics, I discovered that

I have two copies of #28...I knew I had bought duplicates of FOUR-

COLOR #190 and PUZZLE FUN #1 for some reason back then, but

I had forgotten I had the two GREEN HORNET copies.

While scanning my copies of CAPTAIN MARVEL, JR., I ran

across this one, #54...I wonder how may covers and books

were destroyed by inserting the strip through the cover that

had to be cut from the book?

Also, while scanning a group of my ADVENTURE COMICS I realized what

a great buy these books were...with SUPERBOY...AQUAMAN...GREEN

ARROW...SHINING KNIGHT...and JOHNNY QUICK...all for a dime.

Not really adding anything...but I did pick-up copies of the NEW 52...

BATMAN #0 & #1

DETECTIVE #0 & #1

ACTION #1

and JUSTICE LEAGUE #1

...I guess I'm still a collector of first issues.

 

I should also add, that over the years I have picked-up a run of BATMAN COMICS

from #295 through #515 and DETECTIVE COMICS #507 through #681.

Not sure...but I don't remember seeing another one...a collector of BATMAN

memorabilia might have one.

There was a nice splash in Headline 18 and most of the art on those characters was done by Charles Voight, I think.

 

I like that splash by Binder as well but you probably would have to go to Prize (49) for that one.

Always thought this was a pretty good series...I don't remember

ever seeing issue #3 & #4 on any newsstand...was only able to

find these two.
