Twelve Variants! Holy !
:o Seriously 12 Variants, for what book... Issue 6? (shrug)

I am not sure when the variants begin (they are NOT all for the same issue #), but a couple pages back the thumbnail breakdowns were posted for 12 different character portrait variants.

I saw that and assumed it would be just the one, but now that you mention it, it is certainly segmented enough to be 12 seperate covers (shrug)

Sorry but I'm with those that will be pissed. I was hoping to get a complete run and 12 extra books will just be an expensive pain in the arse. I know I don't have to buyt them, as you said, but when you want to try and get them all this just makes it a pain and will put me of entirety.

The variant game can certainly be annoying for the completist. I was there in the 90's & that was when I decided to give up collecting everything. It was just too much. It was also the 'epiphany' of the 'buy what you love' mantra.

I thought I had always 'bought what I loved,' but then I looked down at the collection & realized I had been zombified into buying everything.

NEVER again.

I buy what I love. If I love all the variants, I'll get them. If I don't, I'll buy one copy of whichever cover I enjoy the best & roll with it.

Twelve variants sounds like overkill - but I don't know how it is playing out yet. Is it over 3 issues? Four? Six?

Congrats to Larry for making the variants happen with Jenny. She's done a great job with the covers & I look forward seeing these. I hope Larry & the Revival folks have success with it all-around... but I'm only buying what I love, so you'd better make them count if you want my hard-earned $$.

If there are 12 variants, i'm going to be pissed off
+1
Why? x2

It means more beautiful Jenny Frison artwork to look at.

Also just like with UA #1 or WD #100 no one is going to make you buy them.

I'm all for more Jenny covers but 12 variants? Seems like overkill.

If it's confirmed I will seriously reconsider collecting this title.

Obviously, becuase it's a great read, I will continue to buy readers but in terms of collecting a set of high grade books I'm just not sure I would bother. If I brought all the books I would be annoyed with the amount of money I would have to spend and if Simply ignored them I would be annoyed that I didn't have them.

I am actually a fan of variants, I just believe it should be limited to the odd 1 or 2 here and there (shrug)
