Grader notes as indication of pressing success

4 posts in this topic

So, I was wondering if there are grader notes that can be interpreted as having better or worse success in pressing? Or since cgc grading waxes and wanes, are there certain years where the grading was in a looser period? Like books graded fall of 2007 are graded tougher than today (not that is really the case, but just as an example)

Yeah, the last book I got grader notes on said something like "Grade 9.8, but would have been 9.2 had it not been pressed."
