Picked up the #1 for $1 issue. Definitely digging it. I liked the original preview for the book. Don't know why I was too lazy to pull the first few issues.

 

Oh well. I'll definitely be grabbing the HC.

in line with seemingly great long term reads, the first arc was outstanding. now that the second arc is half way through, its doing a good job of fleshing everyone out.

 

 

i felt that #9 was a little lacking in the words department. i know there are easter eggs everywhere, but i didnt see a need for a full page for every song on the album. But hey, Matt does 100% of the book, so no worries.

I felt the same way Ryan. There is something magical when you read a series like YTLM for the first time. Then there's a sadness when you realize not only that it's over, but that even if you reread it, it's not going to have the same visceral effect.

 

I always have a little slice of envy for someone who's going to be able to read something for the 1st time.

Read most of Revolver today. Pretty impressed with the book. Looking forward to seeing how it will end.

WoW this HC looks amazing. I received my copy from Amazon today and I will re-read and absorb it at jury duty tomorrow. It is killing me to wait and dig into it but I think it will help while away the hours.
