No need to apologize for the PLODs. Lots of restored books are really nice. Personally, I'd prefer a higher grade book with a little bit of resto to a low grade un-restored book in tatters. To me, defects are defects. Slight color touch is a lot less of a defect than tears, staple pulls, creasing, dirt, pieces missing, tape, etc.

Thanks! Back in the 80's and 90's, I was just happy to get a copy of a lot of these. Resto didn't bother me. In fact, I wouldn't have been able to afford many of these in unrestored condition.

What I've always loved about this comic is the idea that someone working for DC would be so unfamiliar with this new character, Superman, that he would color Superman's hair blonde.
