PGM Killing joke (1st print)

Hey all, just picked this up at a garage sale this morning. Only thing I can see wrong is a very small dent bottom left corner (front cover). Also, any white spot on the back cover aren't on the actual book. I guess they are from the scanner? (I'm sure it doesn't help that it is a completely black back.

 

trying to get better at grading in higher grades so hopefully some of you out there can help me out.

Really dificualt to tell because of the black cover, with the ding (and is there just a slight rounding of the bc llc?) I'd say 9.2, but its just really difficult to tell from the scan.

I don't beleive there is rounding of the corner

The pages are just stickin out a tad past the back cover

 

Also, any suggestions on better scans short of buying a new scanner? I don't think there is anything wrong with mine, maybe just some settings I can tweak

Thing about this book is that you'd almost need an off angle view of the bc to see if there are scratches or scuffs. As far as just grading it normally, I'd say you need bigger scans to know if it's a 9.8 or not, but it has a really decent shot from what I can see.

9.6 seems safe.

I don't see how it would be graded lower than a 9.4.

9.6 but w/ 9.6's going for $50, i wouldn't bother slabbing it. nice mylar and a full back and you're good to go.
