'Should not last long', 'Can't believe this is still for sale'

 

What the poster is really saying is, 'I own a copy and I hope your overpriced copy sells in order to get a comparable price for my copy that makes me feel good.

 

If you are interested in a comic book and see that kind of comments being posted, walk away.

 

 

 

I agree with the OP.

 

When I see a comment like "This book is an overpriced piece of mess, don't buy" or "This seller is a doosh who bought the same book yesterday on eBay for half price" I am super motivated to spend my money.

 

It's comments that are complimentary or encouraging that make me head for the hills.

 

Thank goodness these boards are a cesspool of skulduggery sprinkled with a dash of nefarious, or I would never buy a thing. (thumbs u
