My current "grail"...is my Mexican ASM 300, signed and sketched by TM, Signed by Stan "Hola Amigo!", and DM...damn I love that book!

I really like it when an artist or writer goes out of their way on the cover, with a phrase aside from his sig....a writer writing a quote from the book being signed is rock star I think

My Original quote was "with great power..." but the mexican dude in charge of the signing put a quick stop to that..so I put the first thing I could think of on a cardboard in large letters, when he was about to sign the book...he saw the cardboard and just wrote it..I just wanted a phrase in spanish written by him.."hola amigo" was good enough...when he wrote it..I was eccstatic!

i have a book started. it is a sketch by ken haeser that has snake plissken and frank castle in front of a blown up statue of liberty.

 

i sent it to andrew and he and mr harmon had carpenter sign it and write " plissken." i plan to have romita sr sign it and write castle on it.

 

 

there are a few people i know that would like a kurt russell ss. would be nice to cap it off with russell and thomas jane as well.

I would like a Howard Stern Comic signed by the entire Howard Stern Show crew, including Sal and Richard, Ronnie, Benj, JD. Also it would be fun to add some of the wack pack, Beetlejuice, Big Foot, etc

Thinking about this thread a bit I believe my grails are actually in the works as I type. I have an Alan Moore Essential Swamp Thing 21 that is sitting with Mr. John Totleben awaiting a sig and a sketch. Moore and Totleben together on one Swampy book equals me doing this: Also, Totleben has a Miracleman 15 I've had in my collection since I was a wee lad also awaiting a sig and sketch. Every time I pick up a new addition, there is always someone else to try and get. Mike Vosberg, Dan Adkins, Luis Rodriguez and Bob Larkins are at the top of my list right now.

 

I give a shout out to everyone who helps track down and get sigs from guys that are not as popular as the fan favorites, but are no less a part of comic history.

I thought about this a fair amount. I don't have a grail. I get just as excited at the prospect of getting Jerry Bingham, Jose Delbo, Frank McLaughlin or Sam Glanzman as I do John Byrne, Mike Kaluta, Sam Kieth etc.

I'd have to agree I don't have one particular grail either. I've started more of a project than seeking out one particular book.

Too many to name them all so i'll list only one:

 

1). Laserdisc or DVD for the Specialist signed by Sharon Stone, but i'd have to be present for the signing. Subing the items for her sig, would not fully satisfy me.
