A bunch of 9.4 - 9.8 CGC books on eBay

25 posts in this topic

Just thought I'd give everyone one a heads up.

I found this this seller's auctions while rummaging through the Bronze Age Hulks on eBay.

Looks like he has a bunch of nice CGCs for sale, all 9.4 - 9.8, mostly Hulk and ASM.

And if you want a laugh check this guy's Hulk 161.

And let's quit it with the AOL Headers, shall we? foreheadslap.gif

How do you stop them?

Log into Ebay using internet explorer directly, not through AOL internet. It will tend to be a little faster. gossip.gif

The original links above use cgi.aol.ebay.com

Just drop the .aol and keep everything else the same (cgi.ebay.com)

I'm not going to remember that all the time. foreheadslap.gif

OK, I fixed the two links up top.

But how do I get rid of the "AOL presents eBay" header off this link:

http://listings.ebay.com/

I don't see any aol. confused.gif

Now you've entered OUR world. 27_laughing.gif

P.S. Why do you think we've been complaining? AOL infects your cookies.

P.S. All I've ever had was AOL so I didn't know there was a difference. confused-smiley-013.gif

you have internet explorer, right? just type "www.ebay.com".

My IE has been corrupted.

When I use it I get all these endless pop-ups.

What I would do is download "Spybot" or other spyware product. It must be all that porn you're downloading. stooges.gif

Spybot (and, for that matter, Adaware) doesn't work with some (most) of the more "deeply embedded" IE spyware. They're GREAT programs, but they aren't catching some of the newer style bugs.

It sounds to me like the browser has been hijacked. Get "HijackThis" and run it. Also the new versions of both Spybot and Adaware catch almost everything.

So "HijackThis" will catch different things than Spybot and Adaware? I don't think I knew this...

I got Spyware last year and it helped a lot.

The pop-ups came all the time even when IE was closed before.

Now they only show up when I open IE and only every little while.

I was without McAfee for a small window last year (a few weeks).

My old software expired and it just stopped working all together which sucked.

Last time on my old PC when McAfee expired it stopped updating but worked.

During that small window I managed to get some damn "MyDoom" worm and another system32 virus(es?) of some kind.

With the updated McAfee I bought, and Spybot, I was able to fix my IE so it was at least quiet when it was closed and the same with system32, although the system32 folder pops up on every re-boot and on other rare occasions. But at least no more crashes and strange .exe files auto running from the system32 folder for no good reason.

All the monsters are asleep and I don't want to wake them... sleeping.gif

AAARRGGHHH!!! I hate these ad stuff. My computer got infected and I used these products and still am not back to 100%

Spybot

Spyhunter

Norton Antivirus

Stinger

Ad-aware

Ad-watch

The biggest problem was browser hijacking of IE. Some damn casino homepage would always showup.
