The staples have been replaced, the old staples were rusty and there is some rust migration visible. Otherwise this is a very nice copy with nice color, it lies flat, no writing, no tears, the centerfold is securely attached. Off white pages. One type has original Ajax/Farrell horror contents, others contained rebound Harvey interiors (not published by Ajax)... some had Boy's Ranch and some had the Black Cat. A comic that no true pre-Code horror collector can be withour! This copy is very low grade. I rate it GD- 1.8. It is "beat but complete". The covers are split and detached and glued back on.
