1970 Golden State Comic Con program book

Anybody ever see one of these 1970 Golden State Comic Con program booklets? The Golden State Comic Con was the precursor to the current San Diego Comic Con. This is the booklet from their very first con. I'm trying to get a idea on current market value. Any input appreciated.

I have one. San Diego Comic-Con was indeed called Golden State Comic Con back then.

I saved most of mine over the years. Not sure of the value, but I think the early program books show up on eBay now and then.

I could see it going for $50 to $100 in VF-NM condition, maybe? At least that is what I would pay for it.

 

However, your copy appears to be in GD to FN range. Are those water stains on the cover?

i bought this from MCS as a 1984 SDCC Convention Program, but it has a hand written address and was obviously mailed to someone. I paid very little for it.

One of the problems I had with trying to date some of the programs is that many of them didn't list the year. They would simply say November 27th thru the 30th,

or Sunday Feb. 15th, or Mega Con III Labor Day weekend.

Had to keep referencing calenders to figure out the years.

Another annoying aspect- For dealer info call 437 9392. No area codes, of course.
