I've had modern magazine at GEI since 7/8 while the economy magazines at the same time DID ALREADY ship so. :tink:

These are my first submissions in two years. Last time I sent stuff in it did not take a month or more for packages to be opened and marked as received. I knew going in this time things were different now. So maybe six months from now…

I don’t bother to check anymore…not worth my time.  My 20 Moderns (20 only) were received and scheduled for grading since 7/7/21, after being sent to my presser in April.  I last checked on them a month ago.  I honestly don’t care anymore.  I didn’t renew my membership…I've lost interest in having my comics graded.  I’m pretty disgusted by everything, but I’ll keep selling Modern slabs to finance my Silver/Bronze/Copper collection…which will be stored in Mylar.  (shrug)

I miss the good ol' days of checking maybe 20 times a day. Nope, not anymore!

I took the below screenshot from an Instagram post made by a shop owner who sends a pretty good amount of Modern submissions on a regular basis. This "new process" would explain these crazy quick turnarounds for Modern submissions that are popping up (saw a few other postings on Instagram of people asking WTF?). Sucks for everyone else not chosen for the great experiment and that have been waiting months now. Hopefully it gets implemented across the board soon....

Maybe the "new process" involves throwing darts at a dartboard.  hm  Books can move from Receiving to Encapsulation in a matter of minutes!  :banana:

Crying out loud!!  Mine were received 7/7/21 but still scheduled for grading.  I don't know which one of us has it worse!!!  Mine were only with Tony S. for about a month, but sat at CGC for two before receipt.

I use Joey as he has worked some magic on several of my books and he hand delivers the books to CGC so no extra shipping and they immediately get checked in and go straight to SFG. He has been really busy like most in the industry and has been working on books recieved from the 1st week in April.  Still I am in no rush.

Do you know if Joey made a CGC run recently? Was hoping my bundle was in the next truckload. Comics with him since about the same time.

I do not know, but would assume he did as these just showed up and since he hand delivers I would say yes. Mine was delivered April 1 and showed as received the same day. 

I have sent several through him and have had some show up at cgc before his stated " working on " date on his site, I have also had other a couple of weeks after . 

I have gotten to where I know he has been busy and swamped like most and just trust they will get there safely and he has shown a great track record with some awesome upgrades for me. 

Some of the best things just take time.

My last 25 book submission through him included a previously graded Adventures of Superman  CGC 8.5 that he upgraded to a 9.8 :banana:
