Modern Fast Track delivered to CGC around 9/1 marked as received and scheduled for grading 9/30, grading/encapsulating 10/1, grading/quality control 10/4, shipped 10/5

Have 3 modern no FT 6/18 grading/encapsulation since 9/29

Yeah I sent in 25 books every 2 weeks from 4/26 to mid June.  Logged as received about once every 35 days, still haven't received any back - My 6/18s are G/E/I.  I did a fast track for a show in 2 weeks to see if maybe they would make it and they did, but I was charged for every order (my fault for not realizing this).  That was a big charge to not have a majority of books coming back until next year more than likely.  Hoping those G/E/I for a week now will be finalized by end of next week for chance at arrival for the show.  But it is what it is.

I've had one in Quality Control/Finalized since 5/26 and when I call to ask, they just say "everything is fine."

I feel like about a year or 2 ago, scheduled for grading meant something, but unfortunately all it means in today's world is that the books have been received. 

Now I get the sense the same is happening with grading/encapsulation. Were your moderns fast tracked or not. I have 2 modern slow track submissions that were delivered on 5/3 and received/SFG on 6/23 and 6/24. Still no movement.

I have about 500-600 books at CGC currently, so unfortunately for me besides some Express invoices I haven't had a paycheck (aka my books back) in 2 months now.  CGC is now like an annuity.....eventually I will get to cash in lol

As long as I keep giving CGC 100-125 books per month eventually after a 12 month rolling calander cash advance business model I will have books back once a month maybe going forward. hm 

My regular modern 6/11's have stayed this way now for almost 2 weeks.  Now I do think by around Thanksgiving the clog of all the books that went from the grading room clog to encapsulation room then to shipping will finally be done.  You know all the books that shouldn't have been graded in the first place.  All the people who thought submitting their Secret Wars #8 in a 6.5 was worth the CCS/CGC then eBay fees.  Only now to get their books back with knowing they lost and everyone else won.   

Clog definition:  

Mostly books that should not have submitted or pressed in the first place.  

Old CGC pricing

People bored at home during covid and using FREE money to grade nonsensical books

Books submitted before the copper/modern had its price market correction (aka good for the hobby actually, and still up more than pre-covid levels so that is good))

People's hopes and dream crushed by December 2021 when they get their books back just in time for the holiday season only to realize they don't know what they are doing.

I get the feeling that the biggest influx of books arrived at CGC sometime in early May. If these books are now at the encapsulation stage, I could see the reason for the logjam. Hopefully this is the last hurdle before we get back to normalcy.
