  2. Had it cleaned and pressed... Came back this week 9.4 W pages here are the notes: light fingerprints on coverlight spine stress lines to cover
  3. Had it cleaned and pressed... Came back this week 7.5 OW/W pages here are the notes: crease left top of front covercrease right bottom of back cover breaks color
  4. Did anyone here submit for an Adam Kubert remarque? I've seen some posts on books with signatures getting shipped back, but curious if anyone else is still waiting for a sketch. Thanks.
  5. The paper at the bottom of the case ... nothing it was included at no charge. It's too bad it wasn't big enough to have an artist sketch or something. haha. I called and CS told me to run it through as a ME, so hopefully nothing there also. CS was very helpful for what's it worth.
  6. Just got a bunch back from the Adam Kubert signing. Newton Rings don't bother me much but this random bit of paper ended up getting encased. FYI @CGC Mike
  7. I can post it when I have it in hand, also provided I can find them. For reference it was a Wolverine #79 so the back does have the black NBA Jam ad.
  8. I'm guessing based on the fact that the OP made it seem like its supposed to be over-graded or under-graded...I choose the over
  9. I guess that is part of my question. Wouldn't the CCS treatment get rid of those also? Or are fingerprints unable to be cleaned?
  10. Wouldn't a CCS press/clean get rid of "light finger prints on cover"??? I re-subbed a book for a signing. I sent it in still in the CGC Case, previously graded 9.6 without any notes. I know artist's can unintentionally 'flaw' a book during the signing, but after that happened to me once already with a JSC signing, I get them all pressed and cleaned now. If it had that on the grader notes from before, I would be OK with it. Now it's coming back 9.4 with just that note. I feel like it picked up the finger print sometime after CCS but before grading. Is it even worth calling CS about this? I won't get the books back until maybe Monday so I can't tell yet if I can even see it through the case.
  11. So I wonder if you could get a comic in and superglue it shut. Also odd how he has listed and sold higher grade slabs of the same book ...
  12. I put the link in the OP and here again FWIW @CGC Mike this seller is willing to take offers ... they sent me one for $79 I'm not sure any reason to sell these to someone other than something shady. https://www.ebay.com/itm/225088169604?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=0RzxozKLQJm&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=4D-q50OTRh6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  13. So this is a thing... not sure if they got delivered that way or if they cracked them open. This came up on a saved search I had. I hope the cases aren't this easy to crack open and resell to scammers.
  14. Yes...it split 9.6 and 9.8s which is what I was expecting they all had press-able issues. So it was def. worth the wait. I can post more when I get them in hand early next week. there are no mechanical errors. Been following this thread lately and hoping to avoid any of those issues.

  16. You're not alone. Same thing is happening to my submission from last year... Delivered 5/3/2021 Received (Opened) 6/21/2021 CCS Billed 1/12/2022 ... ... I called Customer Service on Friday and was told they were starting to press books received July 1 2021. The CS Rep was very nice and sent an inquiry email, as mine should have resurfaced by now. Got a call back from CGC but missed it and no VM. Hoping there is an update next week, as it was late in the day Friday.
