My last two modern FT (SDCC) subs were about 15 total days which is super considering Boston was in the middle of it and a short week for Chicago.

Looks like they may be getting their Modern Submissions down a little...60 Day Current Turnaround

Does that count the 4-5 weeks in encapsulation and QC?

140 moderns sent in late April. Graded June 28. Stuck in Encapsulation Hell ever since with little hope they'll be done before August.

It shouldn't take that long to encapsulate books, it really shouldn't.

Have a value submission received on 5/6, went scheduled for grading 7/8 and graded 7/10. 15 business days later...still not shipped? Seems like they've improved the grading situation, but that has shifted the bottleneck to QC now. Surely improving QC bandwidth is an easier prospect than improving the grading turnaround was? I wonder how many orders actually make it through the QC/shipping process in a given day hm

This value tier order went to shipped/safe on 8/6. A 3 month turnaround which roughly tracks with their estimate on the site. A pretty nice improvement from the 6 month turnaround not that long ago. If they get a little more QC help they might hit that 40 day target yet (thumbs u

5/22 - modern no fast track. Scheduled for sitting in a corner.
lol

That's how it feels, though at ww Chicago a dealer can drop off a 400 book on-site order unannounced.

7/19 - 4 coupon books received and verified (15th business day will be 8/9, the Friday of WW Chicago, so that will probably throw me off a bit)

7/19 - 9 book Economy FT dropped off in Sarasota

8/8 - Coupon books are graded, after hitting SFG on Tuesday. Good news, but it will be interesting to see if they can ship by day 15 tomorrow.

8/20 - 9 book Economy FT finalized today. So a month and a day from drop off to grades, or 22 business days with Chicago inbetween.

I am still waiting for my ss book from WW NYC that was sent out 6/30. Is there a website or something that you can track it to know what stage of the process the book is in? So far I'm at business day 35 and wondering how much longer I should be expecting to wait for my 20 business day comic grading service to be completed...

If you're a member of the society and put your member number on the form you should be able to check online. If not, but you have your invoice number, you can call CGC to see where your sub is in the process.

Need to be a member to have sub tracking I think.

Also expect up to 6 months to get your books back.

I'm almost at 60 business days but its actually been almost 3 months. Still sitting in the corner still verified so I am expecting 2 more months for a total of 5 months meaning that they are way behind.

It's more like 80-90 business days for modern subs......such is life....

My last modern invoice was around 60 business days - don't know where you're getting the 80-90 days from

Already explained it above......60 business days soon and still at verified.

Why would I make this up? lol . Someone asked so I replied. So do the math and add time for grading, encapsuling, and QC.

I look forward to visiting the offices to pick up, it's all nice and cozy inside.
