Batman #1 CGC 7.5 EP on eBay....fishy?

This Batman #1 has been on eBay since yesterday.

 

The seller also had an unrestored GA Green Lantern #1 in cgc 9.0 listed but removed it.

 

He kind of made a point by posting pictures of the comic right next to a piece of paper with his ebay name and the date written on it.

 

However, since this guy is located in Germany and only has a feedback of 11 with nothing related to comic books, I got curious and decided to contact him.

 

Now, it seemed weird to me when he insidted to be paid only through Paypal. When I asked him to meet in person, he replied:

 

"sorry to hear that bud I can't meet with you because I have bad experience with this situation. ln 2009 I was meeting a person from another country and he stolen some money from me with a weapon. I prefer the way of paypal (secure for both sides)."

 

I have no idea how the pictures came to be, but this definitely seems very, very fishy to me
