Archies print runs from the early 80s?

I never paid much attention but did they print monthly averages like Marvel & DC did? Circulation statement or something like that.

 

Not sure. I think figures were counted / estimated by the distributors' stats releases?

Sounds reasonable,I don't know either.Without one in front of me,my memory isn't exactly spot on but they did list copies distributed,subs,promo/giveaways,office use,damaged,returned,etc....But it does seem like a good starting point.

A few years ago another boardie pulled these numbers from the Archie title's Publishers Statement that was usually printed in the Apr-Jun issues of that comic each year. First is total paid circulation, second is total printed.
