They look like expensive toys to me. Although my understanding of laser cutting is limited, I know the smoke diffracts the light and would limit it's effectiveness to some degree. Laser cutting equipment for cutting steel creates a focal point where the cutting is done. I don't really think this guy is the dawn of hand held Star Wars weaponry. The videos are too long and spend too much time spinning around the objects. I want him to explain what the devices are doing and show us more footage of his devices doing something.
