What is this, Instagram? I'm not taking pics of my dinner...

 

But I had grilled marinated pork chops, rice, fresh cut corn, lima beans (we call 'em butter beans down here), applesauce, and yeast rolls for dinner tonight. I feel like a stuffed sausage.

My pork chop marinade is simple - 2:1 Worchestershire sauce to light soy, with some Texas Pete, black pepper, and garlic thrown in. Pork is pretty dense, so you can marinate thin chops for 4-6 hours, thicker ones overnight.

Nice, simple, tasty marinade. (thumbs u I need to cook pork more often. I have a great mango pork shank recipe. But right now I'm loaded up with chicken because there was a sale.

 

I made curried broccoli chicken for both lunch and dinner. Also had yogurt with blueberries. I'll post pics tomorrow - too lazy tonight. :)

 

I think the Rocky Road ice cream is calling my name right now. :D

A simple & quick chicken marinade for grilling or broiling - half lite soy, half Italian dressing. Black pepper & red pepper flakes are optional.

I've used a version of that marinade before...it's really good.
