So we had a baseball card forum all this time, and then just vanished. Its like the Atlantis of the boards.

Yes, some years back there was Sportscard Guaranty aka SGC and they were part of the Collectors Society organization. I believe they split of quite a number of years ago. They had their own forum shared with the Comics and Coins forums. I remember it being sometimes rather heated and was not the most pleasant part of the boards.
