I saw this tour in Oswego, NY in 1985. They opened for a band called Zebra.

I was never much of a concert guy.

I would have enjoyed seeing The Outfield.

Incubus

Make Yourself

:cloud9:

Out of all of the concerts I've been to, Incubus was one of my favorites.

I had a chance to see them at a little hole in the wall theater back in '97 when SCIENCE came out and I passed. Still regret it to this day.

I saw Kings X and Dio in that same theater about 5 years later and I was so close to Ronnie James Dio he could almost touch me with the devil horns. Damn, why didn't I go to that Incubus concert? :frustrated:

I saw them at UMass Amherst. It was a small space. Great show.

They ended the show with Aqueous Transmission. One by one, a band member put down their instrument, bowed to the crowd, waved and exited.

1) Van Halen Mix Tape

2) Tori Amos - Under The Pink

3) Journey - Look Into The Future

4) Journey - Next

5) Doobie Brothers - Toulouse Street

I love 70's soft rock - Ambrosia, Firefall, 10cc, Gerry Rafferty, Player, Orleans, England Dan and John Ford Coley, Hall and Oates, Gino Vanelli, Boz Skaggs, LRB

Love it.

Me too. And some of those bands had the best session players in the business in them. A rare transitional period where light rock with a punch could find its way onto the pop airwaves. A fair amount of experimentation as well.

Also Chicago, Toto, Elton John, Gary Wright, Pablo Cruise...

Speaking of session players, this documentary looks really good.

The Wrecking Crew

This was unbelievably good.

I was ecstatic when I first heard about the Muscle Shoals doc. The Swampers are legendary in the music industry, but outside of a stanza in a Lynyrd Skynyrd song, they never got much public exposure.

Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers

And they've been known to pick a song or two

Lord they get me off so much

They pick me up when I'm feeling blue

Now how about you?
