AF 15 on American Pickers

I don't know if anyone else saw it but American Pickers has a promo that they're picking some guy's comic collection and they show shots of an AF 15.

The episode airs tomorrow night (Monday).

I think the official grade by the appraiser was 2.0-2.5. (which was about what the seller claimed FYI) Doubt it was restored considering the the heavily-chipped right side and color breaks. Still nice book though. I think he said they would make a $1000 profit on it.

 

Earlier, when they were considering buying ai at they guy's place, I noticed a quick shot of a Hulk #1 in the case with what appeared to be several other key books. Too bad they were "AF #15-Blind". They could have "bundled" both for a good price and really made out.

 

I like the show, but it can be frustrating when they find stuff I actually like. (don't know anything about old Motorcycles or oil cans). I did like that they showed lots of close-ups of the cover and interior though. More than you can say for ComicBook Men.
