There are two ASM cgc 7.5 on ebay right now. One is a open auction and one is a buy it now. They both have different cgc serial numbers but they are the same exact book. Different sellers in different states. the item numbers are 140862350074

They both have the same date stamp on the front cover in the exact spots and the giveaway is on the back cover they both have the same blue dot on the right edge. What is the deal???

One is real and one is memorex. The book that the seller with 1300+ feedback has was just graded at the end of Sept. The other was graded in 2011. My guess is that the one from the seller with 26 feedback is a scam. The photo was likely lifted from an auction site.

Can someone explain how exactly this scam would work? What exactly would the winning bidder get, if anything? And how does the seller get away with it? The apparent shady seller's cgc number goes back to an ASM 1...

Presumably the buyer gets nothing and the seller melts away with the money ... only to return under a different id.
