Wait. I've been away for a short while. Is there talk of Cable being in the next X-Men movie?

Nah, but it's bound to happen right? Major character in the Marvel Universe who is bound to get major screen time in the not so distant future. No matter how you slice it, he will be in the X-Men movies.

 

When I was a kid I passed up on buying an NM copy of New Mutants 87 for $30 because I thought it was too expensive. Fast forward twenty years and I get a 9.6 for $77. Go figure.

I hear ya. Done that with a few books. But Cable is one of those Marvel Copper Age characters I would love to see finally show up in the movies. Only if it is done right.

 

Some folks have been pitched in the past that may or may not have made sense. This one seemed to make so much sense, Rob Liefeld supposedly pushed for him.

Cable could probably be the greatest character in the X-men movies right up there with Wolverine. I can easily see Cable looking fifty times better than Deadpool ever would on screen. Just think about how awesome that cyborg arm would look. HOT!
