What?! Ridiculous that you can have chipping on VF, but yet an unobtrusive, non-structural tear reduces an otherwise fabulous looking book to G+.

To me it looks like a large piece out of the lower right corner on the BC...

 

Still that's one great looking copy!!!

I have GA CGC 4.5s that don't look as nice as this copy (not that I think this is a 4.5 mind you). Maybe there's something in the notes that we don't see. Regardless, an incredibly nice book for the grade. Someone should snatch it up!

Case in point. I think I almost prefer the Tec to this All-Star 10 in 4.5.

The All-Star is pretty too, but I prefer the tear over a piece missing 10 times out of 10. The dust shadow's not a factor. If it was brittle, they would've said so on the label.

 

If you put these two books in the PGM forum, I'm grading the Detective a 3.5, and the All-Star a 3.0.
