New Superman Image Released

I still belive that this one will be one of the best superhero movies ever, if not THE best

I have faith

I still think the original SUPERMAN movie is the best superhero movie of all time, and I don't even care about SUPERMAN the character.

If you don't count The Incredibles, Superman: The Movie is the best. My favorite Superman adaptation is the Fleisher cartoons, but I'm pretty sure an animated Superman movie wouldn't do well. I'm still hopeful about Man Of Steel, despite hating the evil Superman color scheme.

Damn! I forgot about those cartoons. I actually have the DVD somewhere - I picked it up at a garage sale a few years ago and never finished it. Something to look forward to!!! :applause:

I'm okay with the poster. What it says to me is that this is going to be a different kind of Superman than what we've seen before.
Have you seen the scenes with Supes on a boat a la "Deadliest Catch" vibe? Kinda says it all, really.

I'm really hoping they don't portray Superman as some emo anarchist whining about everything from the world's oceans to rich capitalists, how western civilization victimizes all. :wishluck::eyeroll:

Showing Superman in handcuffs being escorted by stormtroopers seems like a visual clue it will have some underlying antisocial themes. Who knows what.

Oh darn, Big Evil harms crab fishing and corrupts cops. But wait... Look!, up in the sky!...

I'm alright with the content of the poster, it's the quality that is extremely poor. I'm just very surprised that something that blurry and amatuerly retouched (for effect) would be released by a multi-zillion dollar corporation.

For people to be acceptant of something so substandard in quality lowers the level of artistic and professional expectations in our society. Most people don't think it's that big of a deal, but I would posite (thanks, Walter) that if a company pre-releases that kind of garbage to the public, what's the actual film going to be like?
