COLLECTING "ONE-SHOTS"

Even though I tried to buy every first issue I could find on the

newsstand, I can only locate about 3 or maybe 4 in my collection

that were "One-Shots". I have ATOMIC THUNDERBOLT #1...

KO KOMICS #1...CAPTAIN WIZARD #1 and a FEDERAL MEN

COMIC #2...there doesn't seem to be a number one listed.

Does anyone collect GA ONE-SHOTS?

I collect one-shot publishers not just one-shot titles... these are the only ones I have ever found.

Loved the "MYSTERIOUS TRAVELER"...use to listen to his

stories on my radio in the '40's. Never saw the comic on the

newsstand.

plus a very large number of give-aways (promos).

These are all terrific...it's always surprising to me how many comics were

out there that I don't remember even seeing ...and I hit the newsstands

at least 3 times a week.

At the time of its publication, Superman #1 was intended to be a one-shot. There's actually no issue number on the cover or the indicia.

Since we are doing one shots and I just posted this in the ped 1st's (whick I'm not sure this technically could be considered a 1st issue) and it's still on my clip board I'll post it here too...
