Holy smokes! Am I missing something on that issue? They print 50 of them, or something like that? I always thought of it as a $4 common book. Copper is kickin azz lately. I'm grinnin' like a pig in . 9BE04C0D-234F-477B-9DA5-9B19A30DF2E3-11666-000008D42AC2C487.jpg

That's the greatest part about the copper age, besides the quality of the books themselves, is that you can still pick them up cheap, and clean up. Gold and silver.. Not going to happen. Bronze.. That well is dry, and everyone has caught on. And moderns are expensive from the get go, for the most part. Only in the overlooked copper age can you find a dollar book and turn it into a several hundred dollar one. This is the golden era for this age, and it's only a matter of time before everyone catches up. Hopefully, not for a long time. The secret is safe with me. :shy:

my undercopies are 9.6's. I'm debating whether or not to have them graded, or just keep them and maybe sell at a high buy it now. With really good scans? Crazy. Not long ago I might have used a copy to sop up soda my son dumped on the floor. Instead of a Sham- Wow, It would have been Vince's Sham- oh F#%k. 0C82101F-3379-4BF9-9AA2-0D67D4B0594C-12678-000009E2B19A926C.jpg Edited by Paper Airplane

Had a great haul from the Orlando Comic Expo today....multiple copies each of ASM 300, NM 98, and a ton of quality dollar comics (like about a half dozen 9.8 potential Thor 344s). Woot!
:applause: Nice haul.

high grade, or eBay high grade? If they're NM or better, I'd buy them all.

I wanted to get to this show since it's right in my backyard. Alas, I will not be making it. I never get to shows :sorry:

I want to throw my hat into the ring on this Copper Age! Bought out all the store stock from a dealer who had a store during the 70's and 80's.

This doesn't even scractch the surface on the rest I didn't photogragh. The few sent to CGC have all are returned 9.8 and White pages. Here's a few more that will keep CGC busy. This stuff was never circulated or sold and have been stored for 20 to 30 years.

There are the same multiples ( nearly 50 each of Nova #1, Star Wars #1 and yes, Hulk #271. Mostly Newsstand and Canadian Editions ) About 28,000 comics in all, perfectly preserved.
