I just got two very irritating emails from eBay...

They suspended the lighthouse_comics account due to a simple billing issue. (Credit card expiration date that I neglected to update). No big deal. Takes 24 hours to fix. No active auctions anyway. No big deal.

But they also decided that they needed to suspend my tpbking account because it shares some of the same contact info. And cancelled all of my items. mad.gif Which means I will have to reenter all the information on each and every item I had in my eBay store from scratch. All of them. mad.gif Being out of commission for 24-36 hours while they clear up the billing issue was no big deal. Typing 400+ items into my store again is not what I planned to do this weekend... To say nothing of the 200 random emails I will now need to answer...

But on the bright side, um... hmmm... bright side... ummm.... yeah... My rose bushes look great??? confused-smiley-013.gif

Welcome to the club. They cancelled my eBay acc for a while because they refused to believe that I didn't already pay them my FV fees for auctions I had run. I provided them with receipts from the CC payment directly into their acc. They ignored these, so I said "whatever I'm not paying again". So they kept emailing me saying I needed to pay, and I ignored them. Then they made the threat to report the debt to the credit bureau. Now this GREATLY pissed me off, so with no other recourse, I chose to have my lawyer write them a nice little letter. Long story short, that ID is BACK on eBay finally.

No need to re-type everything just copy & paste your old auctions in the Ebay database. Do a search on tpbking's completed items or click on the items in your feedback. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

They delete every item from the database... all of them...

No records remain... mad.gif

They don't send a notification first about an expiry? Also, was TPBKING using the same card for the account? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Nope... none of the same banking or credit info. Not the same mailing address.

The only piece of information in common was the telephone number... and believe me, I won't be making that mistake again... foreheadslap.gif

Off to eat my dinner. I hope it's on paper plates in case I feel like throwing one... mad.gif

Actually yes... had been a PowerSeller for a whopping two weeks... confused-smiley-013.gif

Already had to set up an automated email reply on my tpbking address... because eBay emails every buyer of every cancelled item, even if they ordered it a month ago and have already received it. foreheadslap.gif

And yes... I was working on my Con report earlier today. SO hopefully I can still get it done in amongst other things. If I get several dozen refund requests on the cancelled items I should have plenty of free time to work on it. foreheadslap.gifstooges.gif

Use an offline service or application to submit your items to the store. That way, you can just reload them if this happens again. It'll also give you offline records.

Sure it sucks, but you did have two eBay accounts, which is not allowed.

I know store owners who have had a personal ID for their own personal buying and a store ID for what they sell, but the personal account is almost always identified by eBay and removed (eventually).

Rule is one account per user. It sucks that they did it, and you weren't abusing it, but the potential was there for shill bidding, therefore the second account must go... even if the first one was under suspension for non-payment of fees.

Otherwise every abuser and non-payer could set up an account whenever there was a problem with the first one
