The BC top edge ding on the over hang lines up perfectly with indents on the inner well. Is this post slab damage?

Yes, a classic SCS situation. This book should be sent back to CGC, in the holder,

and hopefully they can 'fix' it and preserve the grade. I bet this book is swimming in it's current holder and will only get worse with every shipment. Not cool to put it in auction like this. This is a good example of why there should always be a scan of the Back Cover otherwise it's Buyer Beware.

I'm not sure the tear was caused by SCS but it looks like those creases might press out nicely. I think the book would be hammered today because of the tear and the dust shadow.
