House of Mystery 223 CGC NM- 9.2 Off-White to White Pages

 

Slight blunting on ULC and LLC. I see one NBC "handling" defect on cover, not able to be seen in pic. No signs of SCS.

Do you have an extra 204 or 209 or 217?

 

After collecting these for several years I'm definitely getting a vibe on which issues are readily availaable and which ones are not. I don't think it indicates scarcity, but rather the preference of the collector not to part with issues.

 

In your case---Wrightson covers. Doesn't matter where he draws a cover, it's just naturally more difficult to find those issues.

 

That said, I don't even own a 209. (I used to, but it was VF-). I only have one 204 and one 217--both CGC 9.4. I had a VFish copy of 217 but I sold it to shiver.

 

DiceX--my "minty fresh" 205 is very nice but only graded 9.0. Definitely looking to upgrade there.

 

Again folks, if anyone has a "minty fresh 11.5" copy of 220, I'm game. I've yet to see a HG of that issue in 2 years plus now.
