I gave up on it in the 90's. It was mostly comic book press released passed off as journalism.

I may have bought one issue when they went to the magazine format. In its day as a 'newspaper', it was ebay & these boards rolled into one.

I heard that Wizard Magazine switched brains with CGB, and after #1700 it will turn into Wizard Buyers Guide and start over at #1.

Truly the end of an era.

Todays fans can't imagine how vital a role this paper played in developing our hobby.

You ain't kidding, it was like a little comic con once a week. I remember thinking "man, I wish I could get a new CBG every day." A little while later I found Ebay, and that was that!
