Yes, Lynn Varley's colours on that book played SUCH a huge role. I would love to see that painted #1 cover in person. THAT would truly be my one true grail. I know we all throw "grail" around here very easily sometimes, but that would be mine.

The DKR #1 cover is a collaboration between FM and Lynn Varley. Frank pencilled the Batman, Lynn painted the cover.

I know this cause I'm looking at the original as I type this.
