It's one of the most fun shows for me each year. If you're a fan of original art this is the show to attend. It's my hidden secret but I'm happy to spread the word. The guest list is phenomenal with easy access, two obscenely loaded art auctions with great deals and friendly creators plus friendly dealers. I know it's a crowded weekend, con wise, but if you're a fan of comic artists or live on the West Coast, this is the show to attend. :)

Awesome guest list. It is like a slightly trimmed down Emerald City.... I will be going I am excited to get back to California. Reserved our booth for the show today.

I have heard that Stan Lee sucks all the money out of the room.

 

I think that's doubtful for this particular show. It's very heavy in original art, underground/alt comics, and stuff that doesn't have Stan's name or co-creations in it. Being a Sunday only guest will be a big boon for attendance, I think. But hey, anything to remove competition for me for those art auctions will make me happy too.

 

Also many of the local collectors have gotten Stans sig through store signings with key Bay Area Silver/Golden comic dealers. But with Ramos, Campbell and Stan together, I expect even MORE copies of ASM 700 to get signed here :)
