Newbish Question

20 posts in this topic

This is probably a stupid question but can you only post pictures in a post through photobucket? How would just post a pic of a comic thats say not in your collection, just an image off of google, it doesnt let you click and drag so what are the ways to post pictures in a post is what im basically trying to say?

P.S. Don't hate, just discriminate in your mind and keep it to yourself :P

You need to save that picture from google to your local computer and then upload it to an image hosting site like Photobucket. This site doesn't let you upload pictures directly from your computer.

, I didn't know that..oh well, learned something new :)
 I didn't know that either- but I'm gonna pretend like I did so greggy doesn't think I'm a nitwit too.

Although come to think of it being called a nitwit by greggy is actually an honor.

The risk of posting an image taken from the web is – however – that if the site goes off and/or the image is deleted, it will no longer show in your post.

If you are planning to have a post accessible for future references, it’s always best to follow Logan510 suggestion and re-upload an image you have picked from the web to your Photobucket (or any other image hosting site) account. :)

Oh, much worse things than that can happen. The person who uploaded the pic could realize you're hot-linking it and change it to gay porn. I've seen it happen on Ebay!
