the authority
I'm glad you got this back on Five Ghosts. I don't mean to but every once in a while my mind wanders
Mattyeo
This is cover to the self published nycc 2012? http://www.bleedingcool.com/forums/comic-book-forum/62915-nycc-debut-five-ghosts.html Very rare, never seen it around.
followtheleader
I love the art and the concept of the book. But I'm not sure the storytelling is 100% up to par with the rest of the book. No disrespect meant. My hope is that the original 5 were written for the short term (a standalone 5 parter book with no long-term intended). Six was better, but still a little rough at times. steadybeasie
No disrespect intended but I dont think you are giving the story enough time to develop.
ZaCrew
No disrespect intended but I dont think you are giving the story enough time to develop. This, it's a pretty intelligent book as well and it may lose some people. Heck look at EoW.. So many people were lost with that book, and heck some still are . I feel pretty good knowing EoW and Five Ghosts are in my top

steadybeasie
Just so we are clear my comments were for the guy who said the story was lacking not frank. I think the story is coming along just fine.

Katchoo
No disrespect intended but I dont think you are giving the story enough time to develop. 6 issues is more than enough, especially when (I think) it was a 5 issue mini to begin with. RobK_aka
Finally got my SDCC submissions back. Here's a (crappy cellphone) picture of the SDCC '12 Ashcan and it next to the published version. Please excuse the poor quality of the pictures. The only notable difference is the lack of the image logo in the top left as well as the "part 1 of 5" blue dot
Joe Kim
I got one more of the phantom variants for sale if anyone is still looking for one. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7147088#Post7147088

SDCC, did you do a slow submission?
RobK_aka
Yeah the 8.5 Ashcan is the only one slabbed at the moment. Yeah I did a slow sub on all my SDCC books. I'm never in a rush for that stuff since I don't flip or sell. It's just my personal collection.
Machiavelli
Great looking book Robk! Thanks for sharing that! Makes me wonder if both of the ashcans will be listed under the same title. I assume they would since there is no mention if its from the SDCC or C2E2.
