That's actually an interesting choice of addiction. Many alternative therapies use coffee enemas for disease prevention / cure, and it's actually quite effective in a lot of cases.

 

It's a little more common outside of North America but it's quite common here too...and it is addictive.

My understanding of too many coffee enemas is that it can deplete the body of many minerals including potassium. It's only meant as a temporary therapy.

 

It's extremely effective, though.
