I think GOTG just took its first "rotten" hit on Rotten Tomatoes.

 

The bad review isn't up... but the % has dropped to 96% and shows one neg. :(

GL has the most interesting power of any superhero

They really dropped the ball on the dude

A 70's GL/GA movie would be epic

 

I think you are not the only one who wants that. Personally I prefer super-heroes who have super-heroes because of who they are not what they are wearing etc.

 

But its good that not everyone enjoys the same things :)

I honestly don't understand how RT comes up with their scores. I just stay with Metacritic. It is more straightforward.

 

I think RT takes into account buzz or something prior to a film's release.

I always thought it was simple math. Right now guardians has 27 positive with 1 negative.

 

27/28= .96

Metacrtic is usually pretty harsh in comparison to RT. Avengers MC score- 69, RT- 92%, The Dark Knight MC score- 82, RT- 94%.

 

RT is strictly a thumbs up or thumbs down. Metacritic takes an average of the actual critics scores: 3 of 4 = 75, 4 of 5 = 80, etc.
