Almost agree all the way with you except with the Bronze Age. I Think Marvel in all has DC beat. But when it comes to the Silver and Gold I'd still say DC! But I totally agree with the Artist list..WOW what a list. Nice my Friend.

BK,

I'm glad you liked the list.

Undoubtedly, my list will change as it always does. One day I like this or that, and the next day something else comes along and I'm hooked on that and it goes onto the list.

I welcome and hope others contribute and provide a list their favorites... superheroes, comics, etc.

It's fun to share what we like.

I'll try this out I guess, I like your topics though. Lately they have been pretty interactive. So here goes:

If I could be a superhero, who would I be?: Hulk, but World War Hulk

My favorite Comic Book Character: Cable

My favorite Cosmic Superhero: Tie as well: Black Bolt...if he counts and I guess it matters if you set the cosmic tie to during Silver age which he really wasn't to the Modern version. If not then Adam Warlock. But then the same could be said for him in a way.

My favorite Classic Superhero: Superman but only from a lack of Marvel Classic characters from the Gold era.

My favorite Non-powered Superhero: Hawkeye

My favorite Supernatural Character: Doctor Strange

My favorite Confidence Man: Tony Stark (Not Ironman)

My favorite Pulp Hero: The Shadow...Yeah I'll have to agree

My favorite hometown Superhero: Spider-Man kinda owns this one.

My favorite Indie Superhero: Hard as I rarely dabble in the Indies.

My favorite Superheroine (based on looks): Magik

My favorite Superheroine (based on heroics/leadership): Rogue

My favorite Super Team: X-Force (The Wolverine Hit Squad One)

My favorite Cosmic Villan: Galactus

My favorite Despot Villan: Doctor Doom

My favorite Supernatural Villan: Mephisto at any time but the Moment in Time Storyline. Only time I really wasn't a fan.

My favorite Rogues Gallery: X-Men

My favorite fight between heroes: Avengers vs X-Men

My favorite Golden Age publisher: DC Comics

My favorite Silver Age Publisher: Marvel Comics

My favorite Bronze Age Publisher: Marvel Comics

My favorite Copper Age Publisher: Marvel Comics

My favorite Modern Age Publisher: Marvel Comics but Image is kinda close on this one.

My favorite Bronze Age run: Wolverine Volume 2: 33 on Larry Hama's run

My favorite Copper Age run: Tie: Uncanny X-Men 129 - 143

My favorite Toy Tie-In: Transformers

My favorite Event Maxi-Series: Hated the way Civil War ended... It was like oh we should just stop and give up. Avengers vs X-Men, Killed Professor X reversed M day. Actually House of M was probably the biggest shake up.

My favorite Mini-Series: Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe

My favorite Cross-Over: DC/Marvel Amalgam...Dark Claw

My favorite Graphic Novel: Watchmen

My favorite comic book writer (living or dead):

Tie: Stan Lee and Chris Claremont

My favorite comic book artist (living or dead): Neal Adams

My favorite comic book cover artist (illustrator): Jack Kirby

Who I believe is the greatest comic book artist ever? (living or dead): Jack Kirby I know I know, just not a fan of his. I'm gonna have to stick with what I like here....Neal Adams

My holy grails (list will grow without a doubt):

I didn't think you would choose Batman over Superman.

Seems like Superman is the hero of choice to be. And why not... he can do it all.

My second choice: Green Lantern. I would be great to create constructs out of sheer will power and imagination.

My third choice: Iron Man: Genius with Money... damn life would be good!

I had no idea! It looks like Denver has Wall Creeper too, he is only an hour away from me, I wonder if there is any one in Colorado Springs where I now reside...

As for picking Batman over Superman, Superman is my alltime favorite but there are only certain eras where I dig the stories and art, I think Batman has been more consistent with quality art and story telling over the decades, I think of both of them as a yin and yang for my tastes.

My favorite Superheroine (based on looks): Jean Grey

Is she gorgeous or what? John Bryne made her so beautiful that even when she became the Black Queen and Dark Phoenix I still wouldn't have kicked her out of bed.

Now if only Ms. Marvel would join us... don't know if I could say any more.
