Below is another example of another fraud / phishing email to look out for. I just got this one today. It is well done with similar html and look to actual emails you would receive from Safeharbor if you reported a spoof email to them or a problem. The Phishers are getting clever!!!! mad.gif

I got this one last night! I just delete this garbage without reading it now. sumo.gif

There's another even more insidious eBay scam email going around... This one says that your auction bid is cancelled. Clicking on the link to see what auction it is will take you to the scam site.

This one is evil in that they tell you how to get on the site the correct way, but the link supplied for the bid history goes to THEIR site where they've duplicated the eBay interface. So it LOOKS legit.. but isn't.

==================

Dear XXXXXX,

The bid that you entered for the item (3832080788) has been cancelled. You can view the reason provided for the cancellation by selecting the (bid history) link from the individual item page.

To overview bid history,simply:

1. Go to http://www.ebay.com and log in to Account Online

2. Select 'My eBay'

3. Provide your Identification

Regards,

eBay Team
