So i see this in Montreal collectibles

 

3 Marvel Star wars special editions,including the Whitman variant.

I write to the guy telling him his price is quite steep considering his photos show them not being mint so nowhere near 200 dollars plus.

 

I check the Overstreet,each is 25 bucks or something.

 

He writes back telling me the pics arent his (why can't he post his own dang pics ? )

 

And he tells me the spiel written in this ad which is listed at 250 in books for sale.

 

But the link he provides isn't even the 500 dollar one he mentions.

I checked completed listings,niet,nada,zilch.

 

I told him i'd write to him again when that ebay sale at 179 for all 3 finishes......

in 28 days.

 

I'm surprised he knows the word triplicate.

I'm always intrigued when people use as a selling point the number of times the book was opened. In all my years, I haven't seen this listed as a grading criteria anywhere. Are there people so naive to jump at an "unread" or "only opened once" comic?
