Ze-man
Only a 9.2. Please tell me you mean.. it only got a 9.2 from CGC.. and you are sad. Not that you mean.. yuk.. it is a 9.2 and I need to upgrade, and feel ashamed to own it. That is one sweet book. No really.. that is an awesome WP SA book. sfilosa
Super nice. And from the PC X-Men books I have seen, the colors and gloss just jump of the covers.

Mithril Man
Thanks, I love it. Isn't my favorite cover from the early X-Men, but it's growing on me...

hobbes
I found a grading coupon dated Oct 2003 that I won in the Weekly Contest we used to have. The crew in Sarasota were nice enough to honor it even though it was so old. Chose this Oakland as the submission. Scan courtesy of CGC. Graded and slabbed yesterday. Received the email with the image this morning. Thanks to CGC for honoring the coupon!

sfilosa
Now that is a beautiful book. What gaps if any do you have on your TTA run? Too many. Actually, I'm over 75% complete with only 4 books being less then 9.4 (many 9.6's and many pedigrees). Toughest one to get will be a #27 in at least CGC 8.0. The rest are just a matter of time (and money of course), but unfortunately, I have exhausted Doug's personal books. I'm actually hoping that Harry (Burntboy) can help me out on one or two when it comes time to sell, as I would love to have a Burntboy book in my collection. tth2
So you finally pulled the trigger, huh? Out of curiosity I just checked the listing on Pedigree, you did a great job of knocking the price down! The 9.6 WM copy cheaper than a 9.4 copy of #40? It pays to be friends with the Doug-ster!
