You know, as the summer winds down, you have the great SDCC, then you have the nearly perfect Chicago CC, and soon, you'll have an event in the south that rivals those two for Summer Supremecy, and it will be less than an hour away from my front door.

 

You'll have the heat of sweltering Chicago, but not all the "spend an hour and a half on train just to get some decent food" travel. You'll have the beautiful vistas of being on the water, and all the great food venues near SDCC, but none of the $300/night hotel hassles. And in the end, it won't be an "Entertainment" or "Industry" convention, but one where small time dealers can still afford a booth and collectors and fans can still afford to bring their fans.

 

Once again, thanks to Bill, Stephen, and Neil for taking this thing to a whole new level.
