Robert Downey Jr. ready to leave the Iron-Man franchise?!

Downey Jr's portrayal of Stark is brilliant, however I could sit and watch an Iron Man or Avengers movie sans Tony Stark, so no Downey Jr. needed. CGI Iron Man, I'm good .I've read a ton of Iron Man/Avengers without Tony Stark, just Iron Man, didn't miss Stark.

Jon Hamm in the Iron Man suit?

hm

I see him as Mr.Fantastic than Tony Stark.

Jon Hamm in Mad Men is brilliant, but have you ever checked him out in other stuff?

Not nearly as impressive

He's actually fantastic in comedy. Not that it helps the IM argument.

I can't think of anyone that could replace him in Hollywood right now.

Gary Busey :baiting:

He's already cast as Krang in the Ninja Turtle movie. :gossip:

I could see him being a serviceable replacement actually.

If I'm reading it right, he says he doesn't see doing it past another three years. My guess is that they'll get him for one more Iron Man and likely two more avenger movies. Seems like that would be enough to run the course anyway.
:wishluck: Hopefully he is on board atleast that long.
