Besides the actual HOAX HUNTERS title, keep an eye on HACK/SLASH #1 (Image, 2011) which had the debut of HOAX HUNTERS in a three page back-up story. Three covers, the third being a New Dimension Comics/Florida Supercon exclusive limited to 1000.

I read iss. 1 and didn't get enough of a good impression to keep buying - does the story pick up or is this overhype?

 

I feel like I see quite a few early issues still on the shelf.

I would think this stuff could be hot also but I brought up the new 2 Guns movie from Boom!Studios a week or 2 ago and I was told movies about indie comics just don't do a lot. The last 2 runs of 2 Guns brought

and this show is a summer blockbuster with Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington. I guess TV is where its at looking at the Walking Dead and PP.

Good for the creators. I picked up 0 and 1 and decided to wait for the trade. Thought it was a good read, but the floppies keep falling behind other books that I "have to read"

This has always been in my pull list since after reading #0. All the reviews on it have been spotless awesome. Michael Moreci is a Chicago guy and a class-act. He's one of the few writers who will actually take time to acknowledge u on twitter or facebook.
