Awhile back, I had agreed to sell my runs of pre-hero Marvels to boardie, but unfortunately he hit hard times and only bought the TOS and TTA runs I had. But, I saved the best for last - the runs of Amazing Adventures/Amazing Adult Fantasy, Journey into Mystery and Strange Tales. Now, I am offering them up more broadly for immediate sale.

 

I would like to keep the runs intact and sell them as sets. My asking price is at old Overstreet Prices (I didn't even check to see if they went up this year). In each run, there are some of the Prototype issues. If interested, please send me a PM.

Thanks to all those that have reached out via PM. A few clarifications:

 

1) Payment by Check or Money order is preferred

2) Shipping in US is $13 per lot. $17 if you combine one or more lots.

3) I am not selling individual issues at this time although I have listed them as such. You can put in requests for particular issues, but they will be considered only after I have given everyone a chance to buy the lots complete.

4) I do not currently have pics of the books - they can be provided, but it may take a little time. I am happy to provide a refund if you are not happy with the grading. I've been grading since the early 80's so the grades should be within a 1/2 grade of CGC grading (plus or minus).

Great books you have for sale. I know it is tedious, but pictures would really help out here. Though, there are some great issues here it is impossible to know what makes the grade VG. As a buyer, it is hard for me to make a big purchase if I don't know what I am buying looks like. Even group shots would be something.

Thanks for the message Razorback - I corrected the price for the Strange Tales price - it is actually $564 and not $964 as previously listed.

 

Included in the lot is the famous Aunt May and Uncle Ben prototype issue by Ditko (#97). The Strange Tales Annual #2 and #101 can be purchased individually for those that may be interested in them. They have some pre-hero content in them although they are technically "hero" books.
